Great job, Ms. Devine!

Rhonda Devine is one of our most motivated residents here at Belltower Health and Rehab Center! Rhonda was referred to therapy in September of this year due to an overall improvement in alertness and desire to transition from the use of the hoyer with stafff or transfers. Skilled PT evaluated Rhonda, with a plan of care focused on strengthening her legs to be able to work on standing with the use of a front wheeled walker or assist bars to be able to transfer from her bed to her wheelchair without the need for a mechanical lift and also to be able to use her bathroom more independently.

Through hard work and dedication, Ms. Rhonda was able to reach both of her stated goals with skilled therapy. She is now able to transfer with the need for only supervision to and from all surfaces in her room and is really enjoying her increased independence. She stated that ” this level of independence allows me to come and go as I please and be more active with my friends”. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your success Ms. Rhonda and we’ll look forward to seeing you out and about in the facility!
